Athletes from 204 countries participated over a two week period pushing physical and mental limits in hopes of winning a medal for the country they love.

Floating Robotic Exoskeleton for Olympic Swimming and Triathlon Training

Well, the 2012 Summer Olympics are almost here, and the competition is getting tougher each year. One thing I’ve noted is that the equipment for the athletes is getting better, and the coaches are utilizing computer science, data mining, and advanced technologies in training. This is allowing the athletes a slight incremental gain each and every year. Some might say that’s cheating, but it’s not because every nation is doing it, and all of these training techniques that are being done in each country are slightly different, and it is helping everyone get better while advancing the technologies forward – with many additional applications for all.
